Survival Swimming Program
Teaching essential water safety and survival skills that could save your child's life.
Program Overview
Our introduction 24 lesson package is required for all new swimmers. This package is 24x 10-minute lessons. Your child MUST swim a minimum of 2 days a week and keep the same instructor. By building off 'yesterday' for 'tomorrow' children will learn and grow every class. Keeping the same instructor allows your child to develop a relationship with their teacher and pick up on exactly the same skill set they are working on in every class. For children new to water this program should take approximately 8-12 weeks to complete in order for the child to learn how to fall into water and roll over onto a back float position until help can arrive or the child is capable of swimming to safety.
Older, more capable children may pass through this program much faster and then progress into skills from our Continuing Education program. Each child moves along at their own pace. As every class is private 1 on 1 we cultivate around each child and their needs. We will always move through our skill progression until we find the area that each child really needs to develop. Older, more capable children must still start in this program as we require all new students to do 24 lessons so we can vastly improve their abilities regardless of their current skills
